ATTORNEY: Hi, my name is Thomas Smith. I’m a partner at the law firm of Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan, and Coleman. I’ve been with the firm since 1987. I began practicing law in 1982, after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh school of law. I restrict my practice to workers’ compensation and personal injury litigation. I also do some social security work, but mainly I practice in the field of workers’ comp. I chose injury law based upon my family background. I am a child of a disabled father. So from a young age, I was subject to all of the problems that were associated with an individual who was disabled from work. He was also receiving social security disability, so it kind of fascinated me as a child to see what he went through.
