When you suffer injuries because of a slip-and-fall accident in a large retail store, you have a right to sue the store to recoup your medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages and more. However, these cases can sometimes prove difficult, as a woman who sued Target recently found out.
A man is seeking damages of more than $150,000 for injuries that he suffered after allegedly slipping and falling on a loading dock. The defendant is the Council Rock School District in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and the Holland Middle School in Holland, Pennsylvania, is where the incident took place.
In August 2013, a couple was visiting the Six Flags Great Adventure park in New Jersey. As the woman was exiting a restroom on the park grounds, she stated that there was a cart used for cleaning blocking the way. She attempted to step around the cards, but she fell and allegedly suffered a shoulder injury.
