Today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette contained an Associated Press article that highlighted the employment history of Mr. David Kwiatkowski, a travelling hospital technician accused of causing the spread of hepatitis C at various healthcare facilities throughout the country, including UPMC. The article titled "Tech in hepatitis C case worked in Mich., Md." contains information regarding Mr. Kwiatkowski's history in Michigan, Maryland and New Hampshire. According to the AP article, Mr. Kwiatkowski had been suspected of wrongdoing regarding the willful infection of patients with hepatitis C, a disease known to cause chronic liver and health problems, while working in hospitals across six different states.
