Tom is a long-time resident of Pittsburgh and earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

Tom joined the firm of Caroselli, Beachler & Coleman, L.L.C., in August of 2013, after five years in private practice. Tom spent over 20 years with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office where he tried approximately 200 cases to jury verdict, and has extensive experience investigating and prosecuting health care matters, homicides, sexual assaults, police use of force cases and white collar cases. Tom has presented on health care issues to the California Attorney General's Office, and others. Tom served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in a 55-defendant RICO prosecution. Since Tom joined CBMC, the firm's clients have benefitted from his investigatory and trial experience in the handling of civil matters on their behalf.
