Kids for Cash Settlement with Mericle Takes Important First Step

As reported in the Wilkes-Barre Citizens' Voice today, the U.S. District Court on Tuesday gave preliminary approval to a $17.75 million settlement between Robert Mericle and the children and families who were victims in the kids for cash case.

"On behalf of our clients, we're pleased that the Court granted the Motion to initially approve the settlement and that a date has been scheduled for final approval," said William R. Caroselli of the Caroselli, Beachler & Coleman, L.L.C. firm. "We will give each of our clients the necessary help to complete the forms and move toward a fair distribution of the settlement."
