July 8, 2010 - Caroselli Beachler McTiernan & Conboy L.L.C, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania personal injury law firm, is proud to announce that Attorney Timothy Conboy was elected as the 43 rd President of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ). The PAJ is the largest trial lawyer association in Pennsylvania with over 2200 members.
The Pennsylvania Association for Justice, formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, was created to maintain and support the legal system in Pennsylvania. The association provides the resources for legal information to be shared, lobbies for the preservation of our civil justice system, offers seminars regarding all areas of trial law, and focuses on preserving fairness and effectiveness of the legal system overall. The mission of the PaAJ is to promote a fair and effective justice system - and to support attorneys as they work to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in Pennsylvania's courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
After an introduction by his partner, William Caroselli, Attorney Conboy addressed the membership for the first time as President at the Retreat Awards Dinner on June 26 in Bedford, PA. "I am grateful to the PAJ membership for entrusting me with this great responsibility," Conboy said. "As PAJ's president," he added, "I intend to continue to fight for the rights of injured people and wronged consumers against the powerful interests that are arrayed against them."
Attorney Conboy focuses his practice on workers compensation, personal injury and medical malpractice. He has dedicated his practice to helping those injured by someone else's negligence. He was chosen by the American Trial Lawyers Association as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Pennsylvania, and has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America consecutively since 1999. He was named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year this honor has been given, and was also named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Top 50 in Pittsburgh three times.
While serving as the President of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, he has pledged to uphold a fair and honorable legal system in Pennsylvania and continue his busy practice as a partner of Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy, in Pittsburgh, PA.
