Timothy Conboy Elected President of Pennsylvania Association for Justice

Timothy Conboy, an attorney from Pittsburgh and the law firm of Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy, has been elected the 43 rd President of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ). The PAJ is the largest trial lawyer association in Pennsylvania with over 2200 members.

Addressing the PAJ membership for the first time as President at the association's annual Retreat on June 26, Conboy pledged to uphold PAJ's mission of advocating on behalf of injured victims and their families and to preserve their constitutional right to full compensation.

"I am grateful to the PAJ membership for entrusting me with this great responsibility," Conboy said. "As PAJ's president," he added, "I intend to continue to fight for the rights of injured people and wronged consumers against the powerful interests that are arrayed against them."

Conboy began his legal career in the Allegheny County Prosecutor's office, where he fought for the rights of victims of crime. As a trial lawyer, he continues to promote justice in the Commonwealth fighting for his clients' rights.

A partner at the Pittsburgh law firm of Caroselli Beachler McTiernan & Conboy, Conboy is a personal injury attorney with emphasis on workers' compensation. He has handled cases across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania involving vehicular accidents, industrial accidents, product liability claims, and medical malpractice cases.

Conboy has been selected as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Pennsylvania by the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has been named one the Best Lawyers in America every year since 1999. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year the honor has been bestowed.

Conboy earned a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College in 1979 and a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh Law School. He resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Beth and is a proud father of their three sons, Ryan, Cole, and Sean. He is the son of Pat Conboy and Pittsburgh sports legend, Jerry Conboy.

The mission of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice is to promote a fair and effective justice system - and to support attorneys as they work to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in Pennsylvania's courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
